One year.
It's been over one year since the last post published on this old friend, my blog.
Even though a year doesn't seem long enough to be so unfamiliar, I feel like a wandering stranger creeping into an old abandoned house--complete with the creaky door, slinking cobwebs and carpeting dust. It thrills me to see so many blog friends still around, posting about their lives and what God is teaching them in their seasons. That familiarity is the hoodie and pumpkin latte to this stranger's chilly, autumn day. :)
I've always loved writing and thrived on it's ability to clear my mind and share my heart, but I feel so rusty at it that I hope I can even do it again. I've SO missed the sweet community of people that I've met through blogging as well, and I hope you'll still be my friend after leaving you hanging so cruelly, heh heh.
When I left this little blog-home of mine, I was as preggo as possible and around a week away from meeting our precious baby Bear--who is now over one year old, my goodness.
The overwhelming takeover of mommyhood in all it's joyous chaos, adventure, chaos, blessings....did I already say chaos?...caused me to completely abandon blogging and anything related to my mark on the virtual world (or many other worlds for that matter!). I've never been one to NOT be easily overtaken. True story.
Ironically now, coming back to this little home on the web, I am AGAIN as preggo as possible and only two weeks from the due date of our second baby girl, Bee.
She was a huge surprise, as we weren't "planning" for her. But I'm thankful the Lord has better "planning" skills than I do (which doesn't take much, but I'm still happy the God of the universe is handling this, haha), and Baby Bee is already a huge blessing to us. She's going to shock the socks off of us, because it hasn't even hit us that she's coming...convincing as ever-increasing practice contractions are.
I'm praying that in the midst of a new season and it's new wave of chaos that I have the grace to write and share more about where we are and what I'm learning--I get the itch oh so often!
If not, I give a sincere "Oh well, I tried" and apology in advance, haha.
If so, I'm excited to attempt to be back in the world of good friends and sharing life and words together.

Awwww, it was so good to see a post from you, sister. Been missing you in lots and lots of ways. {{hugs}}
